"I
do not know how to express my joy and delight
to be awarded in Her
Majesty Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2007.
I received a letter from the Prime Minister’s
Office, 10 Downing Street London on the 11th
May to inform me in strict confidence, that,
the Cabinet
Secretary and the expert Honours Committees,
wish to submit my name to The Queen with the
recommendation
to be appointed an MBE.
This was published on Saturday the 16th June
2007 on every national paper and also in the
London Gazette. I strongly believe that this
honour as a recognition from the Queen for my
dedicated services to the National Health Care
in UK for forty long years.
I am delighted and honoured to receive such
recognition from Her Majesty the Queen. It is
splendid that my achievements have been recognised
in this way. I do know now the date of investiture
is on the 15th November 2007. I received the
confirmation date on our return from Vilamoura.
So I, my wife and my two daughters (Samantha
and Sara) are invited to the Buckingham Palace
to receive this award on that date.
I feel very honoured with the achievements and
would like to share the joy with close colleagues,
friends and family.
I
most sincerely thank you all for supporting
me."(Sat Sarkar Esq.
